Awa Odori (Japanese: Apo ぉどり) is a Japanese dance. "Apo" is the former name of Tokushima, and "Odori" is a kind of dance. Island is the birthplace of Abodori with a history of more than 400 years. Awa odori performance in Tokushima is held from August 12 to August 15 every year, which is one of the most famous cultural activities in Japan.
