Lu Ban's process of learning skills is summarized in seven subheadings.

Not far from Luban, Wan Li came to Zhong Nanshan to study. There are thousands of ways to climb the mountain. He chose the middle one and went up the hill.

He came to three small bungalows on the top of the mountain, gently pushed open the door and saw a broken axe and a rotten plane.

I also saw an old man with white hair and beard sleeping. Lu Ban guessed that he was a fairy who was proficient in carpentry. So he tidied up the room and waited for the master to wake up. He didn't wake up until the sun went down. Lu Ban knelt on the ground and explained his purpose.

Hearing this, the master stroked his beard and asked three questions to test Lu Ban. The first question is to test basic knowledge, the second question is to test perseverance, and the third question is the learning purpose of Kao Luban. Lu Ban got all the answers right, so the master accepted him.

Lao shifu asked Lu Ban to sharpen tools, cut down trees, plane trees and dig holes. Luban worked for 43 days, and it was all done.

Seeing Lu Ban's eagerness to learn, the master was determined to teach him all his skills. He led Lu Ban to the Westinghouse. It turns out that Westinghouse is full of exquisite models. Luban carefully dismantled each model three times and installed it three times. He doesn't care about eating and sleeping every day and never puts down the model.
