Is literature a social science?

Literature is not a social science, but a humanities science.

The humanities is a specific scientific about human cultural phenomena, and strives to reveal the essence and laws of social and cultural fields.

Such as linguistics, history, archaeology, ethics, aesthetics, religion and so on. Some people think that these knowledge systems are less scientific and more subjective, so they can only be called disciplines, not science.
