What is a fermentation bed?

The fermentation bed is to spread Gymboree starter and sawdust evenly in the shed, with a total thickness of about 60 cm. After the cows are put into bed to defecate and urinate, the cow dung is artificially buried below 15 cm.

Generally, the temperature rises from the second day to the third day, and after 3 to 7 days of activation and colonization, functional microorganisms multiply geometrically (the theoretical number of reproduction can reach 272 in 24 hours).

Cow dung and urine are used as nutrient sources, and the bedding mixture is gradually heated and fermented. The temperature of the central fermentation layer can reach 35-45℃ or higher, and the surface temperature is stable for a long time in winter and summer.

20 degrees, basically forming a constant temperature bed. After the lower fermentation is completed, the padding materials such as sawdust will gradually turn black due to fermentation carbonization, and can be used as fertilizer or roughage in the later stage.

You can move out of the house in batches. If it is not used, it can be removed for a long time, and the filler will gradually decrease over time, so it should be replenished regularly.

For example, the advantages of cattle fermentation bed:

1, dry seeding operation. Generally, the fermentation bed needs to ferment the padding at high temperature in advance, and the padding can be spread into the fermentation pool after the fermentation is completed. Otherwise, the fermentation bed can't start and run normally. Fermentation bed starter has the advantages of no need to pile up fermentation in advance, no need to start the fermentation bed in advance, no need to add water, no need to dry shop, only six layers of padding are needed,

Six layers of bacteria. Even the process of mixing with padding can be omitted, and the operation is really stupid and simple.

2. Save the dosage of strains. Self-made indigenous bacteria or small miscellaneous bacteria have low activity and low bacterial content. Each square meter of fermentation bed needs 500 grams or even 1 kg of microbial inoculum. Fermented bed starter can make 10 square meter cattle bed per kilogram, which can run stably for more than 3 ~ 5 years.

3. The thickness of padding is thin. Self-made indigenous bacteria or strains produced by non-professional manufacturers have weak ability to decompose feces due to the constraints of performance and effective live bacteria. They need thick padding to absorb feces and urine, and can gradually decompose feces and urine. Generally, fermented mattress materials need 80 ~ 100 cm, and Gymboree fermentation bed has strong strains, with a bacterial content of 3.5 billion per gram. The padding of 1 cm 3 contains 3 ~ 5 times or even 10 times more functional bacteria than other fermentation beds, and the thickness of padding of 60 cm is needed for cattle raising in fermentation beds.

4, the product dosage form is good. The powder is easy to store and transport, and the strain has good dormancy function.

5. No nutrient solution is needed. Basically, the strains from all manufacturers need to add a certain amount of auxiliaries, such as nutrient solution and saline soil. At the same time, make a fermentation bed. It takes one dose and one material to make a fermentation bed. One dose is dry-spreading starter. One material is padding, which can be sawdust, rice husk, peanut shell, corn stalk, etc.

6. Good sleep function. It is not enough for the starter to have strong light activity, and the storage time is too short, and the dormancy function is not strong and useless. For example, the indigenous bacteria or strains of general manufacturers are all liquid or nutrient solution, with a shelf life of only a few months or no dormancy function. As long as it encounters an empty column for a long time, the strain will be inactivated, and it needs to be cultivated in a fermentation bed again. The fermentation bed has strong dormancy ability, which can be maintained for more than 2 years. The fermentation bed can still be used even if it is not used for 2 months or even longer.

7. The operation is extremely simple. There is no need to add any nutrient solution and ferment padding in advance, which is convenient for control and maintenance, and greatly reduces the labor intensity and auxiliary material cost of bed making. High-tech really makes it easy to raise cattle. It's a fool's operation and easy to succeed.

8. Low cost. The total cost of fermentation bed production includes many aspects, which should be comprehensively calculated, such as: unit price of strains, dosage per square meter, survival time and filling period of strains, availability and cost of padding, variety, quantity and total amount of auxiliary materials, cost of nutrient solution, complexity and cost of daily maintenance, failure risk cost and so on. Don't listen to the unit price of a strain. Some strains don't need money, but the cost of self-production or production is much higher than that of purchasing professional strains. Fermentation bed has low total cost and high cost performance, and is widely used in various animal farms.
