Development prospect of pension industry

According to international standards, China has entered an aging society on 1999, and will enter a deeply aging society in 2024-2026. The development of pension industry is particularly urgent. During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, China's pension service capacity has improved, but industrial development still faces three shortcomings: insufficient effective supply, low degree of integration of medical care and nursing, and difficulty in attracting professionals. How will China's pension industry develop during the 14th Five-Year Plan period? This paper will analyze from two aspects: development focus and development goal.

1 and the review of the 13th Five-Year Plan

During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, the scale of China's pension industry continued to expand and its service capacity improved. In 20 16-20 19, the number of institutions providing services for the aged nationwide increased from 28,000 to 38,000, and the number of beds providing services for the aged also increased from 6.8 million to 8.238 million.

-There are still three shortcomings in industrial development.

During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, brand building is also an important part of the development of the pension industry. China's top ten brands of pension, smart pension and pension community have been released one after another. According to the data of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, by the end of 20 19, more than 50% of the old-age care institutions and nearly 40% of the old-age beds in China were organized by social forces.
