1, an ancient village in southern Anhui
Located in yi county, Huangshan City, Anhui Province, the scenic spot of ancient villages in southern Anhui Province is represented by Xidi Village and Hongcun Village, which are two representative ancient villages in southern Anhui. Xidi Village covers an area of nearly 13 hectares and has a history of more than 950 years. There are 3 ancestral halls, 1 memorial archway 1 and 224 ancient dwellings. Up to now, the village has well preserved the typical ancient villages of Ming and Qing Dynasties, and is known as the "Living Museum of Ancient Dwellings".
