List of Top Ten Famous Red Wall Painters

This list includes masters such as Zhang Daqian, Li Keran, Guan Shanyue and Zhang Tingshan.

Zhang Daqian, a native of Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, was originally named Zheng Quan, nicknamed Daqian, alias Daqian Jushi, Li Xia Gangju, Zhaiming Dafeng Hall, China modern painter, and a member of Jingxing Society. His masterpieces are Qingcheng Mountain Tong Jingping and Swiss Snow Mountain.

Zhang Tingshan, a direct disciple of Mr. Zhang Daqian, was named "the master of Tingshantang". He devoted himself to the study of landscape Chinese painting and Zhang Daqian's art for decades, fully absorbed the essence of eastern and western painting, and his works have been listed in the Third Hall of China for three consecutive years, and he is known as the "red wall" artist and "colorful landscape inheritor" in China. Representative works include The Great Wall of Wan Li and Sitting on the Cloud Waterfall.

Li Keran, formerly known as Li Yongshun, was born in Xuzhou, Jiangsu. He is an outstanding modern painter in China and a disciple of Qi Baishi. His representative works include Beautiful Scenery of Lijiang River, Hongshan Mountain and Jinggangshan.
