Who are the 72 great demons?
2. Agares: The second of King Solomon's 72 demon gods, a duke named Agreas or Agares, who was under the command of Virtues and controlled 31 legions. Represents 'Lust' in the Seven Deadly Sins. Narrated as a demon with three heads, those of a man, a grazing cow and a lamb. Rides a hellish dragon with waterfowl-like paws and a serpent's tail, has a mouth that spits fire, wields a gun coated with poison, and knows astronomy and math. His pleasure is to induce people to drink or gamble or to trigger their desire to commit crimes. He is under the command of the ruler of the east (the one above). He drives those who are still (sic here, unknown) and brings back those who have fled. He teaches any language and pipe music that exists in the world. He is powerful enough to destroy any dignitary, whether sacred or secular. Formerly the leader of the Angels of Virtue, he commands 31 legions in the name (note the name) of the Marquis, called the Changing Candidates, one of whom is outwardly a frail-looking old sage who speaks quite powerfully. He often carries a large eagle (or rather raven) on his shoulder, and his mount is a large crocodile. He is said to have the ability to see into the future and solve all the riddles of the world, but his words are half-true and cannot be easily believed. He speaks many human languages and has the power to cause earthquakes.
3. Vassago: The third of King Solomon's 72 Demon Gods, a nobleman who ruled 26 legions and was of the same race as Agareth. He has a good heart, and his duty is to declare the past and the future, and to search for all hidden and lost things. Vashak has a gentle nature and is knowledgeable about the past and future as well as all hidden or lost things and knowledge. Since he is portrayed as the same as Agares in the original books, the two are often considered to be the same demonic god. According to another theory, Vashak's face is like an inverted triangular skull, and his eyes, which extend to his lower jaw, are blind and cannot see anything, but he can see the past and the future through the interdimensional dimension.
4. Samigina: The fourth of King Solomon's 72 Demon Gods, a Marquis, commanding 30 legions of the Necromonger Marquis. He is well versed in the science of cultures and teaches them to the people. Samikina is also an expert in the arts of reanimation and séance, and legend has it that placing a talisman with his coat of arms under one's pillow will allow one to speak to the dead in their dreams. Samikina is depicted as a horse, or mule. Sometimes he takes human form when the summoner wishes him to manifest in human form. In the Enochian Magic grimoire, Samikina is called Gamage. He also appears in the works of Shakespeare.

His special ability is to teach the summoner about the harmonization of drugs and transformation. Although Valiver is a docile squire to the summoner, as his title, Duke of Thieves, suggests, Valiver has a penchant for theft, and this penchant can infect those summoners who are not strong-willed enough to go down the path of ****ing criminals. That's why a strong will is necessary to summon Valiver.

It has also been said that Amon stands for [Hermit, the Unsolvable], so his true image has probably never been seen. Amon possessed the ability to see into the past and future, as well as the ability to turn friends against each other or reconcile them. Also in Egypt, Amon was worshipped as the supreme god, so it is clear that Amon's power is one of the few among the demon gods.

(The original text has a very natty bit about how to summon, which I'm putting below: Briseis is very irritable, and if you want him to calm down, you must have him walk a triangle, not a circle, toward the southeast with an oak cane in his hand. In order to command him later, you must then control him with a contract and magical commands. If he will not walk into the triangle, you can threaten him by displaying your pact and magical array in front of him, and he will yield and follow your commands.
