What is the culture of little nyonya?
Little nyonya refers to Chinese women born in Southeast Asia, such as Malaysians, Indonesians and Singaporeans. These Chinese are culturally influenced by Malays and other non-Chinese ethnic groups, and the local Chinese culture is a unique product of "cultural integration" in Nanyang.
Nyangnya or China natives have lived in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore for hundreds of years. We call China local men "greedy" and women "mothers".
Zen people originated in Ming Dynasty in China, most of them originated in Fujian, China or Chaoshan, Guangdong, and a few were Hakkas in Guangdong. Many of them mingled with Malays. Zen culture has a strong color of China traditional culture, such as the marriage customs in the Central Plains.
Thought:
Ideologically, the widowed tend to western culture, especially British culture, and their children receive English education. This seems to contradict the fact that they still retain the ancient customs, traditions and beliefs of China. In fact, the early beggars belonged to a contradictory group. They are divorced from Chinese society, but they can't really integrate into Malay society and become stranded people.
Fortunately, this situation changed later, and they began to integrate into the social system of China. Some lonely children have also been sent to primary schools in China to receive basic mother tongue education and return to their own ethnic groups, while Malacca is scattered all over the country. In colonial times, the most concentrated area of widowed people was holland street, while Singapore was in Kadong.
