Filter press workflow

The ways of filtrate outflow can be divided into flow filtration and undercurrent filtration.

Open flow filtration: a water nozzle is installed on the liquid outlet hole below each filter plate, and the filtrate flows out from the water nozzle intuitively. In undercurrent filtration, there is a liquid outlet channel hole below each filter plate, and the liquid outlet holes of several filter plates are connected into a liquid outlet channel and discharged through a pipeline connected with the liquid outlet hole below the thrust plate.

When the filter cake needs to be washed, there are sometimes unidirectional washing and bidirectional washing, as well as undercurrent unidirectional washing and bidirectional washing.

Suspended hydraulic pressure is pumped into the filter chamber through the feed pump to form filter residue on the filter cloth until the filter chamber is filled. The filtrate passes through the filter cloth, flows along the groove of the filter plate to the corner channel of the plate frame, and is discharged centrally. After filtration, clean water can be introduced to wash the filter residue. After cleaning, compressed air is sometimes introduced to remove the residual washing liquid. Then open the filter press to remove the filter residue, clean the filter cloth, re-compact the plate frame and start the next working cycle.
