Tail gas treatment method

There are many methods for tail gas treatment.

1, high temperature oxidation (incineration)

2, liquid absorption (spray tower, alkali washing)

3, adsorption method (activated carbon, molecular sieve)

4. Catalytic oxidation (ozone, catalyst, etc. )

There are many methods, and the choice mainly depends on the tail gas treatment capacity, concentration, investment cost and treatment effect requirements.

Generally speaking, a compound route is needed, that is, several methods are implemented together.

For example, the tail gas of biological fermentation has a large gas volume and a low concentration. Generally, this tail gas is first washed in two stages or one stage with a washing tower, and then fine treated. There are many activated carbons used for subsequent treatment, but they occupy a large area and are labor intensive. It is difficult to treat waste activated carbon (according to the scale, a regeneration line can be considered for supporting implementation). Or molecular sieve RTO facilities, if there is a self-provided power plant, the concentration of tail gas will be well solved. If not, it needs natural gas incineration, which is costly. But the treatment effect is good and easy to maintain.
