"Cyanotype" interprets the story of traditional cultural preservation in the intersection of time and space
Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, April 21, "CHINA is China, and almost everyone knows it.CHINA is still porcelain, and fewer and fewer people know it. We have an unknown number of civilizations in China that need to be inherited and developed like the blue and white porcelain. I can not bear to watch them in the gradual disappearance, sinking. I can only cry out and tell through the tool in my hand, the movie!" This is what director Sang Hua said after the screening of the film "Cyanide", an entry in the 12th University Film Festival.
A Yuan Dynasty blue and white vase, leading to three different time and space stories, time interlacing, identity confusion, the illusion of love, the distortion of human nature ...... life is like a passing cloud, only the silence in the blue and white porcelain, in the river of time to survive forever.
The movie "Cyanide" tells the story of a porcelain from birth to loss and then to today's search. The hero and heroine are both one person playing a triangular role, respectively, played the master and his wife who sacrificed their lives for the porcelain in the Yuan Dynasty, the young master and his wife who protected the national treasure in the late Qing Dynasty, and the modern young porcelain artist Qinghua and the profit-minded entrepreneur Yang Fang. This is also China's first film to project the perspective on the traditional Chinese art "porcelain", although the subject matter is relatively cold, but the movie reflects the depth of ancient Chinese porcelain, Chinese ceramic artists through the generations of the spirit of unassuming, resilient, so that the viewer is y impressed.
Liu Xiowen, deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Filmmakers Association, believes that the spirit reflected in "Qing Hua" is positive and thought-provoking. The structure of the movie is very innovative, and the arrangement of the three time zones constantly intertwined is very smooth, which is enough to reflect the intention of the director and others. In addition, the male lead of the drama, Yang Zi, has never been involved in the movie industry before, although he is usually the executive president of a Shanghai-based company, but his performance in his first acting role is quite impressive
