What are the traditional cultures in China?

Chinese culture, also known as Huaxia culture, is also understood as the culture of China in a narrow sense, and it refers to the unique culture that China society has evolved and developed since the inheritance of Chinese culture. It is characterized by the development of Confucian culture in China and the thought of Heaven as the backbone. It should be noted that the words "China", "China" and "Huaxia" in this paper are mostly synonyms, all referring to the Yellow River and Yangtze River basins.

Chinese culture developed in Huaxia civilization, which originated from the Yellow River civilization and the Yangtze River civilization and was influenced by barbarians in the north. Chinese civilization is the result of the exchange, reference and integration of three regional civilizations. China ancient civilization has been interacting and merging for a long time after more than a thousand years of historical evolution. Because nomads and farmers compete for the main areas, the Chinese civilizations in the Yellow River and Yangtze River basins are constantly influenced and assimilated by northern barbarians, so that they have lost many of their own characteristics today after a large number of northern barbarians invaded. Chinese mainland has been influenced by Marxism-Leninism for a long time, so there is a fault in the inheritance and continuation of China culture. The present culture is quite different from the original appearance of China traditional culture. Although Taiwan Province Province was developed late in history, it maintained and preserved the traditional culture of China, represented by Huaxia. Historically, China people have experienced many times of ethnic integration, taking Chinese culture as the main body and integrating into the cultures of other neighboring ethnic groups and the western regions for many times.

Due to the high civilization of China culture and the development needs of East Asian countries, East Asian countries are deeply influenced by China culture. Among them, Confucian culture is especially loved by monarchs of various countries. China's culture can be widely spread to East Asia because it pays attention to the way of monarch and minister, the way of loyalty and the distinction between Chinese and foreigners, which meets the actual needs of East Asian countries and people who communicate with each other frequently. By the second half of the19th century, it gradually disappeared due to the invasion of colonialists and their powerful force.

In areas dominated by Chinese, their social culture is usually influenced by China culture, especially Chinese language and life, that is, sinicization. In addition to Chinese mainland, Hongkong, Macau and Taiwan Province, Chinese communities in Southeast Asia (such as Malaysia and Singapore), Australia, Europe and North America. Although they may not be closely related to China geographically and politically, their culture is more or less China's due to a large number of immigrants from China.
