The documentary "The Treasure of China" was produced by the Film and Television Documentary Center of the Central Radio and Television General Station, recorded by CCTV, and produced by international media in cooperation with BBC World News and British Mustang Production Company. The Sino-British co-production team lasted 1 year, traveled more than 7,000 kilometers, traveled to 8 cities in China, and photographed 8 museums, 5 world cultural heritages and more than 20 top cultural relics. Documentary attempts to capture the echo of China people's modern life and seek the modern inheritance of ancient civilization.
The Treasure of China consists of six episodes, each of which lasts for 25 minutes. It presents many aspects of life in modern China, namely, family, art, metropolis, manufacturing, science and technology and diet. Alastair Sooke, a famous British host, was invited to lead the audience to treasure in the museum. This documentary filmed more than 20 rare treasures, including Dayu's Jade Mountain in the Palace Museum, Zhao Mengfu's "Showing Stone and Lin Shu", Dakeding and Blue and White Porcelain in the Shanghai Museum, the mural of Prince Zhang Huai's Tomb in the Shaanxi History Museum, the three-color camel figurines, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses in the Qin Shihuang Mausoleum, the Ningbo Wangong sedan chair and jade cong in the Zhejiang Museum, and the Tian Tong's long live sticker in the Liaoning Provincial Museum in Hunan Province.
According to reports, the English version of "Treasure of China" premiered on the BBC World News Channel in June 20 19, presenting the story of China's top cultural relics to 465 million families in more than 200 countries and regions around the world. At the same time, the short video of the program was posted on the website of BBC.com/reel,, and the article about Liangzhu culture by alastair, the host of the program, was also published on the BBC Culture Channel, which also attracted great attention. More than 30 media outlets in China, Britain, Italy and France also reported the plan.
At the scene, Ding Xiang, managing director of Sophomore Media Research Co., Ltd., showed the relevant research data of the English version of the program to the guests. The agency surveyed audiences from Indian, Australian and American countries, and nearly 90% of them said that they liked the documentary Treasure of China. The most agreed view was that it showed the beauty and uniqueness of China's cultural relics intuitively and showed the profoundness of China's history and culture deeply. The audience especially praised "clear and smooth picture", "attractive content" and "excellent production quality". Up to 96% of the viewers who watched the program expressed their willingness to recommend it to their friends.
At the meeting, Zhuang Dianjun, convener of the Film and Television Documentary Center of the Central Radio and Television General Station, introduced that the cooperation between the Central Radio and Television General Station and the BBC in the creation and dissemination of content in line with international communication laws is a meaningful exploration for the mainstream media of the two countries to further deepen cooperation. Treasure of China reflects the new trend of strengthening external communication and international cooperation in the film and television drama documentary center of the Central Radio and Television General Station. The record channel has been revised again since June 5438+ 10 last year, and the highest weekly viewing share ranks among the top 20 in China, and its international communication power and influence are increasing day by day.
