How to find all the video or (music) files in my computer
Input CMD in the search box and select Open.
The illustration in this article takes Win11 as an example, Win10 interface may be slightly different, but the operation is basically the same.
Directly enter: dir /s /a *.mp4
Enter to get the list of all the videos under the corresponding path.
The corresponding path is the C drive, specifically the part in front of the red box in the picture, that is, C:\Users\ASUS
If you want to explore other paths, then directly enter the disk letter with a colon and press the Enter key. For example, D:
Note:
①To enter in English mode
②Note the space, please refer to the picture inside the display to enter.
It's not convenient to see the result directly inside CMD, you can export the search result to a file by command
dir /s /a *.mp4 >1.txt
.
The exported file is in the default path of the video file you just searched for, the search is in the D drive directory if you are looking for the D drive,
C drive is in the C drive directory. For example, here is still C:\Users\ASUS
