The creation of Longmen peasant paintings has a history of nearly 30 years. It has been exhibited in Guangzhou, Xi, Beijing, Shanghai, Changchun and other domestic metropolises. It has also been exhibited in the United States, Japan, Sweden, Norway and Hong Kong. He has published more than 100 works in domestic and foreign journals, of which 48 have won art awards at or above the provincial level, and more than 4,500 Longmen peasant paintings have been purchased by foreign guests. Longmen County was named "China" by the Ministry of Culture. It has had a certain impact at home and abroad.

1972 began to create Longmen peasant paintings. In the 1970s, peasant painters were very proud to draw the wall newspaper paintings and life in their hometown.

Painting, meticulous painting; After the reform and opening up in the 1980s, people's jubilant mood was reflected, such as works with local customs and traditional folk customs as themes, such as "Wake Up the Lion for the New Year" and "Dragon Boat Race". Since 1990s, Longmen peasant painters have created works such as Dancing the Fire Dog and The God of Grains based on the thinking of "Naman Culture". The unique style of Longmen peasant paintings has been constantly evolving, innovating and developing with the changes of the times.

Longmen County was named "the hometown of modern folk painting in China" by the Ministry of Culture 1988 and "the hometown of ethnic folk art (peasant painting art) in Guangdong Province" by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture 1998.
