Jiangnan Sizhu is the general name of Sizhu music popular in southern Jiangsu, western Zhejiang and Shanghai. Because the band is mainly composed of erhu, dulcimer, pipa, sanxian, flute and Xiao, it is named.
Yin Qing, Sichuan was originally named "Singing a ditty" and "Singing a minor". Because it is often accompanied by the yueqin or pipa, it is also called "singing the yueqin" and "singing the pipa". It is one of the popular Quyi music varieties in Chongqing and Sichuan.
Fan Shi gongs and drums are a kind of local traditional percussion music, which originated in the capital and prevailed in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. Mainly popular in southern Jiangsu, with Suzhou and Wuxi as the center, Nanjing, Changzhou and Shanghai are also very popular.
