Woodworking technology and matters needing attention

Main board technology

1.MDF technology

Density board can be divided into high density board, medium density board and low density board. Ordinary people use medium density boards. The technology of MDF mainly depends on the combination of components. On the other hand, its veneer mainly adopts the process of sticking rather than nailing. This kind of sticker is different from on-site manufacturing, and it is mainly pressed by machine. The combination of bonding data such as density board and fireproof board can often make quite good results.

The main defect of MDF technology is its high shrinkage and hopelessness after encountering water. Another defect is poor bending performance, so it cannot be used in projects with high stress.

2. Large core board technology

The large core board is a popular information at present, especially for decoration companies. The core material of large core board has certain strength. When the size is relatively small, the effect of using large core board is better than other wood-based panels.

Of course, the construction technology of large core board is essentially different from that of modern carpentry. Its construction is convenient and fast, and the cost is relatively low, so it is more and more liked by decoration companies. The process of large core board mainly adopts nails, and it is also suitable for simple glue pressing process.

The main defect of large core board is poor vertical bending performance. When used in the construction of bookcases and other projects, its large limiting strength often cannot meet the requirements of book weight; The solution can only be to reduce the distance between bookshelves.

3. Fine core technology

Fine core board appeared earlier than large core board, and it is a more traditional material in modern woodworking technology. Thin core plate has high strength and good bending performance. In many decoration projects, it can be competent for related roles, and in some structural parts that need to bear weight, the use of thin core plates will have more strength. Among them, the 9mm board in the thin core board is necessary for many engineering projects.

Thin core board, like large core board, mainly adopts nail technology, and can also be simply pressed.

The main defect of thin core plate is that its stability is worse than other plates, which is caused by the divergence of its core material data, which may increase the deformation of thin core plate. Therefore, the thin core plate is not suitable for single-sided parts, such as cabinet doors.

4. Solid wood board technology

Solid wood practice is a traditional practice. Because there are many kinds of wood, the effect is very different, but the technology is similar. Solid wood board has the advantages of good bending performance, high strength, durability and good decorative effect.

Solid wood practices adopt traditional techniques and rarely use nails, glue, etc. The technical requirements for carpenters are very high, and it is difficult for carpenters without formal exercise to be competent for this kind of work.

In the process of eating, solid wood boards should be cooked, insecticidal and dried. Using untreated wood, there will be hidden dangers of pests (mainly termites)

Matters needing attention in woodworking technology

1. Treatment of nail holes
