Brief introduction of Han xiaohu

Han Xiaohu (Zhiyi), male, was born in July, 1950, from Yixing, Jiangsu. He is currently the director of the Arts and Crafts Research Institute of Yixing Tao Jun Craft Factory. Member of China Industrial Design Association, China Natural Science Society and Jiangsu Ceramic Art Society.

Mr Han Xiaohu was born in Dingshu Town, Tao Dou. He was influenced by ancient pottery culture since childhood and loved pottery and flower art. After studying art, he received training in colleges and universities many times, which not only enabled him to have a profound artistic foundation and rich creative experience, but also cultivated superb flower folding skills. His artistic morality is noble, and he strives for perfection in art. On the basis of inheriting the traditional flower stacking technology, he actively explores and innovates, which makes his works full of rich modern life atmosphere. He combined stacking, relief and painting techniques. With the magical power of his thumb, "high mountains and flowing water, pavilions and courtyards" are dignified, beautiful and touching. Its image of "fish, insects, flowers, rare birds and animals" is vivid and lifelike. Give people the exquisite beauty of nature.

Over the past 40 years, fine products have won many national gold, silver and bronze awards, and have been selected as high-grade gifts for government or private collections. Some of his achievements and creations were compiled into the Collection of Contemporary Yixing Ceramic Masters, Who's Who among the People, Who's Who at Home and Abroad and the National Volume respectively, and won the honorary certificate of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, the Silver Award for Innovative Design in the National Ceramic Industry and the Gold Award for International Exhibition.
