A brief introduction to the Mongolian script!
Mongolian commonly used a phonetic script. Early Mongolian alphabet pronunciation, spelling rules, lines are similar to the migratory birds, called migratory Mongolian. Existing literature written in this script, the earliest date is "also Songge Stele" (1225). However, no direct documentation of the early migratory Mongolian alphabet has been found so far. In the recent writings on migratory Mongolian script, the list of migratory Mongolian alphabet is based on the analysis of the migratory Mongolian literature formulated. It is generally believed that there are 19 letters. Among them, 5 are vowels and 14 are consonants. Most of the letters have three variants: initial, middle and final. Individual letters do not appear at the beginning of words, but only at the middle and end of words. Vowel and consonant letters are tightly combined in strokes, and in most cases are joined together. Spelling is generally word-based; however, sometimes a word can be written in two segments. Word order is top-to-bottom and line order is left-to-right. There are three types of punctuation: single dot (equivalent to a comma), double dot (equivalent to a period), and four dots (used at the end of a paragraph). The Mongolian language developed into two branches in the 17th century. One is the current Mongolian language which is widely used in most parts of Mongolia. One is the Tootsay, which is used only in the Weilat dialect area. Compared with the migratory Mongolian script, the current Mongolian script has the following characteristics: the shape of some letters has been improved to make it easier to write in a row; the writing style of some letters has been divided to indicate different sounds; the letters used in spelling loanwords have been supplemented; the phenomenon of a word being written in two parts has disappeared; and a new type of punctuation has been added. The current Mongolian alphabet consists of 29 letters. Among them, 5 represent vowels and 24 represent consonants. The rounded lip vowels o, u*** use one letter, ? , ü*** with one letter. Consonants d, t use one letter variant at the beginning of the word, two letter variants before and after vowels in the word, and another variant at the end of the word, g, k are written the same way in feminine words. Mongolian language has played an important role in the development of Mongolian culture and rich cultural heritage has been preserved through it. Since the establishment of the People's Republic of China, a large number of political, economic, cultural, scientific, technological and educational books have been published in Mongolian, including the translations of Mongolian and foreign masterpieces, and a variety of newspapers and magazines have been issued. The Totte script was reformed in 1648 on the basis of the Mongolian script by the monk of Weilat, Zaya Ban Zhi Da (Na Mu Hai Zha Mu Su). It expresses the phonetic system of the Weilat dialect more accurately. The Tootsie alphabet consists of 31 letters. Among them, 7 represent vowels and 24 represent consonants. The shape and pronunciation of the letters are somewhat different from the current Mongolian. Four different letters are used to represent 4 rounded-lipped vowels with different tongue positions. Consonants k and g, t and d are also separated by different letters. Additional symbols for long vowels are set up and the double-case form of long vowels is specified.
