Three misunderstandings of effective management
(1) Many managers don't understand the true meaning of management. In fact, management is to make decisions. The decision made by management is to let subordinates understand what is important and let them know what to do.
Many leaders like to use the words "high understanding", "thinking" and "understanding" when praising their subordinates. I am very opposed to these three words. These three words appear because the manager's instructions are not clear, which is a big mistake we made in management. Only by clearly letting subordinates understand your instructions can management be efficient.
(2) In management, many people try to prove "doing the right thing" instead of trying to solve the problem. When the problem comes, immediately analyze who caused it, who is responsible and what is the reason, but these are meaningless to solve the problem.
What we should really do at this time is to get everyone together to solve it. This is management, not to entangle who is in charge of this matter. Because things have happened, right and wrong have no meaning at this time. Only when the problem is solved can it make sense, otherwise the management efficiency is low.
(3) Although there is no right or wrong management, there are good and bad points and levels. The level of management depends on whether personal goals and organizational goals can be completely integrated.
High-level management can make all personal goals consistent with organizational goals without conflict. Low management level is the conflict between personal goals and organizational goals. The biggest challenge of management is to make everyone's personal goals consistent with organizational goals, which is a watershed between high and low levels.
In most inefficient and uncoordinated organizations, it is basically because of misunderstanding of management common sense.
