Introduction of Xianyang Jingyang Chongwen Pagoda Construction Project?
Wuling Temple Pagoda, referred to as Yongshou Tower or Yongping Pagoda, is also known as Yongshou Pagoda and Brick Pagoda in the Northern Wei Dynasty. Located in Hushan, Yufeng Village, Yongping Township, Yongshou County, Shaanxi Province, it is located in the site of Wuling Temple in Wuling Mountain, Yongping Town, the former site of Yongshou County. Wuling Temple Tower was built in Tianxing period of Northern Wei Dynasty (398 ~ 404). The present tower is a Song Dynasty building. The tower is a seven-story brick tower with eight edges. Due to the inclination of the tower, the bricks at the bottom fall off seriously. 1985 restoration, found coins of the Song Dynasty and brick carvings of Daguan in the Song Dynasty.
Wuling Temple Tower is 27.5 meters high (265,438+0.7 meters), 6 meters in diameter, 2 1 meter in circumference, 7-story octagonal, brick and wood structure, double-eaved pavilion, with arched cornices on each floor, beautiful corners, round doors and square doors, and flat railings outside. The carved patterns are different. There is a courtyard two meters square in the tower, and the wooden stairs spiral up to the top of the tower. The arches of the mezzanine are opposite, and the railings of the arches overlook the surrounding mountains.
On May 25th, 2006, Wuling Temple Tower, as an ancient building in Song Dynasty, was approved by the State Council to be included in the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
