Cloisonne is a famous handicraft in Beijing. Cloisonne is one of the famous special gold handicrafts in China. By the time of Jingtai in the Ming Dynasty, this craft reached its peak, and the handicrafts made were the most exquisite and famous, so people later called this kind of gold ware "cloisonne".

In 2006, it was selected into the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
