The difference between relationship marketing and traditional marketing
(1) Marketing core. The core of traditional marketing is transaction, concerned with how to achieve transactions and attract new customers; the core of relationship marketing is relationship, emphasizing how to maintain friendly relationships with customers and acquire loyal customers.
(2) Marketing objects. The marketing objects of traditional marketing are only customers; the marketing objects of relationship marketing include customers, suppliers, employees, distributors and other multiple markets related to the interests of the enterprise.
(3) Marketing department. The traditional responsibility of the marketing department is to complete the company's marketing tasks, and other departments rarely directly participate in corporate marketing activities; for companies that pursue relationship marketing ideas, their marketing tasks are not only completed by the marketing department, but many departments actively participate in establishing good relationships with all parties. Relationship, the marketing department has become the coordination center of relationship marketing.
