20 10 Guangzhou Asian Games Wushu competition venue?
Nansha Gymnasium is the martial arts competition venue of the Asian Games, so the design of the venue also reflects the artistic conception of China martial arts. The shell of Nansha Gymnasium is divided into nine curved surface units, which are stacked one by one and divided into two groups, north and south, and spread spirally and radially around the center of the competition hall. This dynamic design is a metaphor for the highest realm of China Wushu-"the combination of Yin and Yang, the unity of heaven and man". At the same time, combined with the characteristics of Guangdong marine culture, the design intention is to learn from the "conch" shell with rich texture changes.
The main steel structure of Nansha Gymnasium adopts double-layer ring truss string dome structure with a main span of 98 meters.
