How to draw China landscape painting

The basic painting methods of landscape painting are thick ink method, light ink method, broken ink method, splashing ink method, dipping ink method and burning ink method.

Coke ink method: There is very little water in the ink, so you will feel hairy when painting. In this way, the feathers of birds can be drawn.

Thick ink method: mixing less water with darker colors, which is often used to emphasize the dark side of objects and nearby objects, and also to emphasize the stripes of paintings. Thick ink is used less in a painting, but it will be stiff if it is used more.

Light ink method: Light ink contains more water and is lighter in color. It is used to highlight distant scenery or nearby light-facing surfaces, and sometimes it is also used to highlight the contrast between light and dark colors of objects.

Splash method: Freehand brushwork, like splashing water, uses one or more splashes of ink, mostly when the previous ink is dry, to highlight the layering of the picture.

Ink breaking method: ink and ink overlap. When inks with different shades overlap, the infiltrated areas are clear and blurred.

Dip in ink method: Dip in ink with a wet pen to form the effect of shallow ink and deep ink, and form a natural and regular effect when painting.
