When did the Chinese celebrate Christmas?
Christmas was introduced to China around 1894. Christmas is a traditional Western holiday that originated in Christianity and is celebrated on December 25 every year. Mass is a liturgy of the Church.
Christmas is a religious festival, because it is celebrated as the birth of Jesus, so it is called "Christmas". Christmas is the biggest holiday in Christendom.
Early in the 4th century, January 6 was a double feast day for churches in the eastern part of the Roman Empire to commemorate the birth and baptism of Jesus, known as Epiphany, also known as "Epiphany," when God revealed Himself to the world through Jesus.
At the time, the only exception was the church in Jerusalem, which commemorated only the birth of Jesus, not his baptism. Historians later found in the calendar used by Roman Christians the following entry on the page of December 25, 354 AD: "Christ was born in Bethlehem of Judah."
