Shanxi, a treasure land, is full of lost culture. People say that if we look at Shanxi in 1957, we will know how many cultures there are in this place, including those hidden ancient villages. Although these ancient villages are unremarkable, they all exude historical and humanistic charm. What I want to introduce to you below is an ancient village in Shanxi, which is Luoyang Village in Houcun Township, Yangqu County, Shanxi Province.

Entering the village is through an earthen gate made of clods. He is an old doorman. The local dialect is called Zhaimen. After crossing Zhaimen, you enter the village of Luoyang Village. The name Luoyang Village is quite strange, which reminds me of Luoyang City in Henan, but this Luoyang is not Luoyang. The village is very big, but its geographical location is relatively remote. There is a mysterious building next to the gate that just entered the door. It stands here alone. It looks like a temple. In fact, it is a temple, where some gods are enshrined. In fact, every village in Shanxi has some temples, but there is more than one temple in Luoyang village. This temple is just one of them, and it should look like an ancient temple. A new temple was built in front of it.

There are still not many people entering the village, and even no villagers can be seen, because this is the outermost area of Luo Yang Village and the most concentrated area of old residential areas. It seems to be back to the life scene of the 1990s, with small dirt roads, adobe houses and small farmhouses. Some houses are very old, some are current buildings, and here are caves excavated in the mountains, real mountain villages, even in today's high-speed economic development. Living here is also a primitive life, and it is particularly inconvenient to get in and out. The gatehouse in the village is very high and is a warm farmhouse courtyard. However, there is no room for the body in my hometown, and there is no room for the soul in the field. The farmhouse here has been completely abandoned. There are many buckwheat plants in the village here. Because of the large temperature difference between day and night, the villagers here don't grow wheat.

The buildings here look a little old, and they are quite old. The village is still very big, and it is difficult to get around it. The houses in the core area of the village center are also relatively old, and the houses are covered with weeds. It can be seen that they are no longer inhabited. Moreover, there is a strange phenomenon here. Villages in this area will have such buildings, which are stepped and have a shrine.

The Zizhulin in Luoyang Village is also a Buddhist temple, where Guanyin Bodhisattva is enshrined. Compared with other temples, this temple is relatively large. In total, there are almost three or four temples in Luoyang Village alone.

What do you think of Luoyang village, an ancient village with three or four temples? Please leave a message in the comments section.
