The teaching of ancient poems is divided into several steps

I. Know the poet before class

Before class, students are assigned to inquire about the authors of ancient poems and the background information of their writing, so as to cultivate students' ability to collect and process information. The new syllabus puts forward higher reading requirements for the higher grades: "Learn to browse and be able to collect relevant materials according to needs." Hearing the Official Army Collecting Henan and Hebei" is the "first fast poem" of the Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu, which expresses the poet's joyful mood and strong patriotic passion for the reunification of the motherland after years of wars and turmoil. However, the difference between ancient and modern languages, the distance between the poet and the students' feelings formed by the change of living environment, as well as the abstract, refined and implicit characteristics of ancient poems will cause students to have difficulties in understanding. Therefore, I asked students to look up the background information of the writing at that time. Some students went to the Internet, some went to the library, some asked adults, and some looked for ...... this pre-course pre-study not only laid the foundation for the next step in learning the ancient poem, but also cultivated the students' quality of active learning.

Second, introduce the background to solve the poem

In this teaching session, focus on cultivating students' oral expression ability. The new syllabus attaches great importance to the cultivation of oral communication skills, pointing out: "To use all aspects of language teaching to consciously cultivate students' ability to hear and listen; to create a variety of communicative situations inside and outside the classroom, so that each student is unrestrained oral communication." Therefore, instead of using the old mode of teacher introduction, it is more effective to let students introduce the information they have collected. When students introduce Du Fu and the background of the era in which he wrote, they develop their oral expression skills and listening skills, understand the meaning of the title, and prepare themselves to understand the content of the ancient poem.

Third, questioning and discussing the meaning of the poem

In this session, students are trained to understand the methods of the ancient poem and cultivate the spirit of cooperation. First, let the students draw out the words they don't understand on the basis of reading aloud, put forward questions, and then let the students discuss in groups. Then let students exchange and comment more. The understanding of the key words of the whole poem to the understanding of the meaning of the whole poem is completely for students to read and understand by themselves. I only play a role in organizing, guiding, and pointing out to help students summarize several ways to understand the key words: look up in the dictionary, contact the poem, read the notes after the lesson, and ask others. ...... It seems that the humanistic view of teaching is very correct: "We are dealing with living human beings who have thoughts, feelings, and independent personalities, and we are not only learning to understand the meaning of the poem, we are also learning to understand the meaning of the poem. They have thoughts, feelings, independent personality, is an individual with subjective initiative. Each student has a huge potential for independent learning."

Fourth, imaginative recitation of the poem

In this teaching session, the development of students' imagination and the cultivation of students' patriotic feelings. First let the students in the understanding of the content of the poem on the basis of read aloud a few times, and then to think about the question after the class to lead the way: what words in the poem reflects the poet's "happy to be crazy" mood? Let the students re-read the poem, draw, continue to use independent study, group discussion, collective review, teacher-student exchanges and other means to let the students to develop their imagination, express their own views, experience the feelings of the strong patriotic fervor of Du Fu infection and education, while learning to experience the central idea of the method, that is, to be in the mood to enter the country, boldly imagine the mood. This session also develops students' ability to read aloud and cultivates students' aesthetic ability. Reading aloud and memorizing are especially important in the teaching of the poem. The poem has a distinctive rhythm, harmonious rhyme, rich emotion, concise phrases, and is catchy. All these features of the ancient poem should be appreciated and experienced by the students. The new syllabus points out that "students should be allowed to read fully, to perceive the whole in reading, to feel something in reading, to cultivate a sense of language in reading, and to be inspired by emotions in reading." Therefore, I let the students recite, experience and savor repeatedly. I put on a few pieces of music and asked students to choose an appropriate one to soundtrack the poem and then read it aloud. I only guide the students in the rhythm and accent of the poem, and teachers and students **** together to summarize the methods of reading ancient poems aloud. In this way, change the way to let the students read, the students in the reading by the patriotism of the emotion of inculcation, by the beauty of education.

Fifth, the transfer of the use of memorized poetry

After class homework reflects autonomy, expanding the scope of students' poetry learning. I designed this homework: After learning this poem, what do you want to do most? Draw a picture, act out, chant, memorize, write ...... choose one or more to complete. As we all know: developmental teaching is an open system, students' participation in activities should not be limited to the classroom and the textbook, but should be combined inside and outside the classroom. This assignment is to extend from inside to outside the classroom to develop students' reading ability and accumulation of ancient poems outside the classroom.

In short, the teaching of ancient poetry should also strive to achieve the students as the main body. Practice has shown that the "independent study" mode of teaching ancient poetry helps to cultivate students' self-learning ability. The improvement of reading and appreciation of ancient poetry will enable students to form a brief and concise style of writing in their future assignments. The mastery of the learning method of ancient poetry will benefit students throughout their lives and make them truly become high-quality talents in the 21st century!
