In this model, nurses often appear as "allies" to provide patients with reasonable suggestions and plans. Patients actively cooperate with treatment and care and actively participate in nursing activities. Both parties share risks and enjoy the results of care.

(3) Active-passive type: This model is characterized by "nurse treating patients", and the prototype of the model relationship is the relationship between mother and baby.

In this model, nurses often appear as "protectors" and are in a dominant position of professional knowledge and active position in treatment and care, while patients are in a passive position of obeying the nurse's disposal and arrangements.

In clinical nursing work, this model is mainly suitable for patients who are unable to express their subjective wishes and communicate with nurses, such as patients with confusion, shock, dementia, and some psychiatric patients.
