What is root carving art?

Root carving art, is one of the traditional Chinese carving art, is to tree roots (including tree body, tree tumor, bamboo roots, etc.) of the autochthonous form and deformed form as the object of artistic creation, "three parts of the artificial, seven parts of the heavenly", through the conceptualization of the intention, artistic processing and technology processing, to create figures, animals, artifacts and other artistic image works.
