What are the seismic design codes for construction

Seismic design code for seismic joints is: "Building Seismic Design Code" GB 50011-2010

6.1.4 reinforced concrete houses need to set seismic joints, shall comply with the following provisions:

1 The width of the seismic joints should be in accordance with the following requirements:

1) the frame structure (including a small number of seismic walls set up in the frame structure) housing seismic joints width, when the height does not exceed 15m should not be less than 100mm; height over 15m, 6 degrees, 7 degrees, 8 degrees and 9 degrees respectively, each increase in height 5m, 4m, 4m, 9 degrees, respectively. The width of anti-seismic joints shall not be less than 100mm when the height does not exceed 15m; when the height exceeds 15m, the width of anti-seismic joints shall be increased by 20mm for each additional height of 5m, 4m, 3m and 2m in degrees 6, 7, 8 and 9 respectively;

2) The width of anti-seismic joints in frame-anti-seismic wall structure houses shall not be less than 70% of the value stipulated in item 1) of this subsection, and that in earthquake-resistant wall structure houses shall not be less than 70% of the value stipulated in item 1) of this subsection, and that in earthquake-resistant wall structure houses shall not be less than 20mm. less than 50% of the value specified in paragraph 1) of this subsection; and should not be less than 100mm;

3) seismic joints on both sides of the structure type is different at the same time, it is desirable to need a wider seismic joints according to the type of structure and lower height of the house to determine the width of the joints.
