In the 2022 World Volleyball League, 16 men's and women's teams were divided into 2 groups, with 8 teams in each group, in the round robin stage. Teams that win the top four in each group in the round robin stage advance to the knockout stage, and each team competes in the global 12 division. Men's volleyball match and women's volleyball match will be held alternately.

In the first stage, the 13 team will be divided into two groups to conduct a single round robin in the group and decide the group ranking. In the second stage, in the first stage, the two teams played in turn, ranking first to thirteenth. In the third stage of the competition, the top eight teams and the last five teams will make a single cycle in the group again, and then cross-eliminated until the semi-finals and finals with two wins in the last three games.
