Xiangxiang composition

My hometown, Fumei Village, Daping Township, Anxi County, is hospitable, kind and simple, and less unique.

According to the traditional custom of hometown, on New Year's Eve, the village will hold an annual New Year greeting ceremony-burning incense, and the object of burning incense is the Buddha we believe in. Every family in the village kills chickens and ducks, and some even kill the big fat pigs that have been raised for several years and make all kinds of delicious food, waiting for the arrival of incense. ...

On the morning of New Year's Eve, the rooster crowed for the first time, but the whole village was full of excitement. Grandma and I hurried out of the house with red bamboo baskets full of sacrifices, and went to worship God and Buddha, keeping up with the vast crowd. Although our village is the third stop for pilgrimages, and the pilgrim procession is estimated to arrive at nine o'clock, the villagers still gathered at the ancestral hall in the center of the village early.

"Knock, knock, knock" more than two hours passed, and the heavy sound of gongs and drums drowned out everyone's noise, and a large group of people wearing various colorful clothes came. In the middle of the procession, the man who carried the sedan chair for the Buddha slowly walked to a big table in the center of the ancestral temple, carefully placed the Buddha on the cushion, and then retired devoutly.

Subsequently, the village head came to the stage and announced: "Today's pilgrimages officially began!" Everyone lined up in an orderly way, came to the big table, put the tributes on the big table one by one, took out two incense sticks from the basket, lit the fire and twisted the incense, respectfully worshipped three times, and then expressed their expectations for the new year like a birthday, and worshipped three times.
