You should know that the siphon principle can't be formed by drilling holes. First of all, when pouring water, there should be no air left in this set of pipes. So we have to plug the air outlet and add water to the bottom of the whole pipeline. After filling with water, unplug the plug of the air outlet, close the valve for launching at the same time, remove the tap water pipe and add water.

2. Open the valve and start siphoning.

Open this drain valve, and the whole pipeline will begin to siphon under the action of atmospheric pressure, and the water in the fish tank will flow into the filter tank at the bottom along this pipeline. You can see the horizontal water level pipe of the whole pipeline, the water inside is full, the normal bottom filtration cycle of the fish tank starts to work, and we can turn on the water pump at the same time.

3. After the power failure

After the power failure, the water level of the fish tank will gradually drop below the water level of the horizontal water pipe. There must be water in the U-shaped pipe on the left side of the horizontal water level pipe, which is to start the siphon again when the power is on.

4. After the call is over

When the call comes in, the water pump at the bottom filter starts to work normally, and the water level in the fish tank will continue to rise. As long as the water level is higher than the horizontal water pipe, the water stored in the U-shaped pipe will be pushed into the horizontal water pipe under the action of atmospheric pressure. When the water level pipe is full, the siphon principle will start again, and our whole bottom filtration cycle will run normally.
