What's the difference between structured cabling and traditional cabling system?

Structured cabling divides the cabling system into seven parts according to the international standard cabling structure: workspace cabling, horizontal cabling, building backbone cabling, telecom room, campus backbone cabling, equipment room and management system. Traditional wiring is just a simple connection, such as only a few backbones, telecom room and some horizontal wiring and workspace wiring, in order to connect all devices to the switch. In fact, there is no essential difference, except that large-scale wiring systems must be planned and designed with structured wiring.
