Each piece of glass will go through a number of tests such as anti-freezing, anti-explosion, anti-mildew, anti-temperature drop, anti-seismic, etc., to ensure that there is "zero error, zero risk".

1, glass plate

Yuntiandu Bridge adopts glass deck. Three layers of tempered glass are set up in the open space surrounded by the main (side) longitudinal girders and transverse beams of the stiffened girders, and film is set up between the layers; two layers of tempered non-slip glass are set up above the main (side) longitudinal girders and transverse beams, and film is set up between the layers.

The optimized elastic rubber mat is set underneath and on the side of the glass structure to ensure that the glass structure has sufficient clearance and deformation coordination ability under various loads, so that it can only bear local loads and not participate in the overall stress of the whole bridge structure.

Each layer of toughened laminated glass is provided with a fastener at the midpoint of its four sides to prevent vomiting and thus improve structural safety, and silicone weatherproof structural sealant is applied to the outside of the film gasket to improve its durability.

2. Anti-vibration

In order to avoid safety hazards caused by *** vibration, Yuntiandu adopts different forms of TMD and TLD to control the horizontal and vertical vibration, and vortex damper to control the vertical vibration; a glass ball is set up at the top of the main girder, which can interfere with the pedestrians' footsteps and act as a mass block for the TMD.
