Baseband boards and RF boards are often heard in walkie-talkies. What are the functions? Is the intercom composed of these two circuits?
Simply put, the baseband board is the running signal, both of which are baseband signals. The frequency of these signals is very low. For long-distance transmission, the baseband signal to be transmitted must be modulated on the RF signal before transmission. Therefore, the RF board is used to transmit and receive RF modulation signals, and the RF frequency is much higher than the modulation signal frequency.
Generally speaking, RF board includes: RF modulation, RF transmission, RF reception, RF demodulation and RF control.
Baseband board includes: modulation signal and demodulation signal processing, such as encryption and decryption, circuit control, etc.
The walkie-talkie is roughly composed of these two circuits, and of course there are other auxiliary circuits such as power supply, so it makes sense to classify it as baseband board;
