Advantages and disadvantages of making friends online in English composition and matters needing attention

Nowadays, making friends online is becoming more and more popular. People have different views on this.

Some people are in favor of it. First of all. They can make more friends in this way. Secondly, they can freely express their feelings and ideas online. Third, learning a foreign language is useful.

However, others hold the opposite opinion. They think it is a waste of time. Besides, it may have a negative impact on learning. Last but not least, we may be cheated.

From my point of view, I support the former view that making friends online can release pressure and increase communication. As long as we are careful, it is safe.
