What folk festivals are there on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month?

The ninth day of the first month, commonly known as "born in heaven", is one of the traditional lunar festivals of the Han nationality. This is the birthday of the Jade Emperor, the tallest god in the sky. Tiangong is the Jade Emperor and the highest god who dominates the heaven. He is the supreme god who commands the ten gods inside and outside the three realms and all the gods on the earth, representing the supreme heaven. On this day, in the Han folk custom, women prepared incense sticks and lent bowls, and put them in the open air at the entrance of patio lane to pray for God's blessing, which pinned the good wishes of the working people of the Han nationality to avoid disasters and pray for blessing.

The ceremony of worshipping the public is quite grand. Generally, there is an altar under the main hall tiangong furnace. Use a long bench or a short bench to put gold paper first and then fold the square table as the "upper table". A table with auspicious patterns is tied in front of the table and a "lower table" is set behind the table. The "top table" is an altar made of colored paper. There is an incense burner in the middle of the front, three bundles of red paper lines and three cups of green tea in front of the stove, and a candlestick beside the stove. Then arrange five fruits and six fasting sacrifices for the jade emperor. The next table is a sacrifice to the Jade Emperor, such as five beasts, spices, red turtle shells and so on.
