What folk culture are there in Shaanxi?
Ansai waist drum is a representative type of waist drum in northern Shaanxi, which is often performed at major festivals, celebrations and temple fairs. In 2006, "Ansai Waist Drum" was selected into the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
2. Shaanxi folk songs are divided into northern Shaanxi folk songs, southern Shaanxi folk songs and Guanzhong folk songs according to regional and artistic characteristics. There are many kinds of folk songs in northern Shaanxi, commonly known as "folk songs" or "sour songs" locally, including more than 20 kinds of Xintianyou, minor, labor songs, Yulin ditty and Shaanxi divertimento, among which Xintianyou is the most distinctive and widely circulated.
Folk songs in southern Shaanxi are rich in content and diverse in forms. Ziyang folk songs are the most representative folk songs in southern Shaanxi, and the representative tracks are Lang Dui Men Singing Folk Songs and Nanshan Bamboo. Guanzhong folk songs have tunes such as boatman's chant, tamping chant and carrying chant.
3. Shaanxi Shadow Play originated before the Han Dynasty, originated in hua county and flourished in the Tang Dynasty. Also known as "shadow play" and "shadow play", it spread among the people and preserved the historical traces of folk storytelling. It is the predecessor of various operas in modern Shaanxi.
There are dozens of kinds of aria, among which five major tunes, namely, Laoqiang, Wan Wan, Aguan, Xianban and Qinqiang, are more common, supplemented by various Taoist feelings in northern Shaanxi, southern Shaanxi and Guanzhong. The traditional plays of shadow play include Visiting the West Lake, What's the Trouble with the Sea, Gu Chenghui and Getting Married.
4. "Shehuo" is a broad, traditional and spectacular mass entertainment activity in Shaanxi, which originated from the worship of land and fire by ancient ancestors. Shaanxi's "social fire" is usually performed in the first month, festivals or temple fairs, including drum music, core-piling, stilts, bamboo horses, dry boats, yangko, dragon dance, lion dance and lanterns. Guanzhong is the most active area of social fire in Shaanxi, and Baoji is also known as "the hometown of social fire in China".
5. Mianhua, commonly known as "Hua Bao Zi", belongs to the art of dough sculpture, including weddings, funerals, birthday gifts, holiday buns and so on. Huamian originated from the sacrificial activities of the Han nationality, originated from the Han Dynasty, came into being in the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Song Dynasty. After the Ming Dynasty, flower cotton was widely popular among the people. By the late Qing Dynasty, artists specializing in making dough figurines appeared in Beijing. Mianhua has been popular among northern folk since ancient times, with rich forms and various categories, especially in Heyang and hua county.
