Batik is Miao nationality.
Batik is a traditional folk textile printing and dyeing handicraft handed down from generation to generation by Miao people in China. This process was also called "Wax Valle" in ancient times, and it was also called the four major printing technologies in ancient China, together with tie-dyeing, openwork printing and clip dyeing.
Batik in China is mainly concentrated in Guizhou, Yunnan, Hainan, Guangxi, Sichuan, Hunan, Guangdong, Taiwan Province, Jiangxi and other places, and the artistic styles and forms of batik in different regions are different.
The batik styles in China can be divided into different types and characteristics, such as Danzhai, Chong 'anjiang, Zhijin, Rongjiang, South Sichuan, Hainan, Wenshan, etc. Different types of batik are also different in use, technology, pattern and style.
