Material preparation: colored paper, scissors and double-sided tape.

1. Cut out five discs, one big, four small, with blue cardboard, and cut all the discs into big sectors.

Classification of rockets:

1, by series

According to the series, it can be divided into single-stage rocket and multi-stage rocket. Because it is difficult for a single-stage rocket to reach the cosmic speed necessary for space flight in practical application, it is necessary to adopt a multi-stage rocket to solve this problem.

A sub-stage of a multi-stage rocket starts to work after firing and ignition, and is separated from the whole rocket after working, and then the sub-stage continues to push the payload into space, and so on until the payload is sent into the predetermined orbit.

According to the dynamic energy, it can be divided into chemical energy rocket, electric energy rocket, nuclear energy rocket, solar energy rocket and photon rocket. At present, the most commonly used chemical energy rockets are divided into liquid propellant rockets, solid propellant rockets and solid-liquid mixed propellant rockets.

As a representative of new energy rocket, the advantage of nuclear rocket is that its engine specific impulse is higher than that of chemical energy rocket, and there is only one propellant, which simplifies the rocket structure and is suitable for long-term missions or interstellar missions.

Sounding rockets can also be divided into geophysical rockets, meteorological rockets, biological rockets, technical test rockets and hail suppression rockets according to their research objects or uses. Launch vehicles are divided into satellite launch vehicles and manned launch vehicles.
