How long does it take to eat pickles?
The curing time is less than 2 days or more than 20 days. Scientifically speaking, the nitrite content in pickles is not high within 2 days after curing, but it reaches the peak on the 3 rd to 8 th day, starts to decline after the 9 th day, and basically disappears after 20 days. Therefore, pickled pickles generally take less than 2 days, and long pickles need to be pickled for one month before they can be eaten.
Extended data:
There are three main ways to pickle pickles:
The first kind is pickled cabbage fermented by Acetobacter, which is sour and often called pickled cabbage.
The second pickling process is similar to the first one, which belongs to biological fermentation. The strain used in this fermentation process is lactic acid bacteria, and its kimchi tastes fresh and sour, and the kimchi made from it is exactly what we call kimchi.
We are all familiar with the third pickling method. This method is mainly pickled with salt, which is very operable and popular in many places in China.
