What is the principle of the work of High Speed Ethernet and Ethernet
High-speed Ethernet (GigabitEthernet) and Ethernet (Ethernet) are both commonly used communication protocols in local area networks (LANs). Both work on basically the same principle, and both use the Ethernet protocol standard (IEEE802.3).
Ethernet works by transmitting data frames over the network to realize network communication. In Ethernet, data frames contain the addresses of the sending and receiving ends and the data to be transmitted. During data transmission, every computer can receive the data frame, but only the target computer will process the data.
High-speed Ethernet (GigabitEthernet) is based on Ethernet and provides higher transmission rates than regular Ethernet. High-speed Ethernet increases data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbps (1 Gbps) by improving hardware and transmission media.
