How to make the classic recipe of Walnut Crumble of Married Woman Cake?

Ingredients

150g gluten flour, 0.5 tsp baking soda, 0.6 tsp stinky powder, 80g lard, 75g powdered sugar

Method

1. 150g, 80g lard (cream, or vegetable oil, ghee), 75g powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 3/5 tsp smelly powder (if not available, substitute with baking soda).

2. Dissolve stink powder and baking soda in 1 tbsp water and mix well.    

3. Stir lard with powdered sugar, baking soda and stink powder solution.     

4. Sift in flour and cut with a rubber knife to mix well.    

5. Knead into a smooth dough and let rest for 20 minutes.

6. Divide the dough into 40g (for large walnut brittle) or 10g (for small walnut brittle) pieces and press into small patties, pressing a small hole in the center with your finger.

7. Arrange on a greased baking sheet, reserving some space (the walnut pastry will grow, oh), and then relax for 15 minutes, brush with egg wash, and put walnuts for decoration.

8. Oven 170 degrees, bake for about 10 minutes, the surface can be golden.

Tips
