Question Types and Scores for Level 4-6

There are four sections and six question types in Grade 4-6***.

1. Essay. The essay is worth 106.5 marks. Note:The essay requirements will be presented in full English. The questions for each of the three sets of papers will be different, but will be on the same topic. For example, the June 202 Grade 4 essay topics, each centered on improving school services, are clinics, libraries, and extracurricular activities. The duration of the essay was 30 minutes. This is the first part.

2. Listening. The total score of listening is 248.5 points. Grade 4 listening consists of short news, long dialogues and listening chapters and is 25 minutes long. Grade 6 listening consists of long dialogues, listening chapters and speeches, reports and lectures, and its duration is 30 minutes. (Part II)

3. Reading Comprehension. Reading comprehension is worth the same as listening, both of which are worth 248.5 points. Reading comprehension for all four or six levels consists of vocabulary comprehension, long reading and close reading. Vocabulary comprehension is a word choice (fifteen choose ten), totaling 35.5 points. Long reading is matching questions, totaling 71 points. Close Reading, which is divided into two sections, *** is 142 points. The duration of reading comprehension is 40 minutes. (Part III)

4. Translation. Translation has the same total score as the essay, both are 106.5 points. The translation is from Chinese to English. The material chosen is wide-ranging, but most of it is traditional Chinese culture. The translation is paragraph translation. The total time is 30 minutes. (Last part)
