Why do foreigners study Chinese medicine?

As a clinical medical student, I feel that Chinese medicine is a very magical metaphysics. Traditional Chinese medicine can't be explained by scientific ideas, but it conforms to the way of human body regulation.

In recent years, with the rise of TCM fever, foreigners also attach great importance to TCM. Many foreigners are very willing to learn Chinese medicine.

Taking acupuncture as an example, it is still very important in America. It is a criminal offence if you claim to be a professional acupuncturist or provide Chinese medicine treatment without a valid license. Violators will face imprisonment and fines.

And to my surprise, although there are great cultural differences, it does not affect some students to understand and learn Chinese medicine. Some students are good at traditional Chinese medicine, and their theoretical level and clinical level are much better than those of China.

It is understood that people in foreign countries are using traditional medical services in China, such as acupuncture, to improve their health and ultimately reduce the burden on the Canadian health care system.

Generally speaking, foreigners are willing to learn Chinese medicine because it is really advanced in the end.
