Technical achievements of leaf dry transportation
1in the autumn of 950, according to Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference's proposal, the Central Ministry of Health organized the Seventh Brigade of the Central Epidemic Prevention Corps to go to northwest minority areas to carry out STD prevention and mobile medical care. On the recommendation of Professor Hu Chuankui, Ye Ganyun was appointed as the team leader. He led more than 60 medical staff to work in Xiahe, Zhuoni, Dongxiang, Linxia, Huangyuan, Haiyan and other places in Gansu for 9 months. They climbed snow-capped mountains, crossed grasslands, went deep into agricultural and pastoral areas and went door to door. They carefully treated the sick people of all ethnic groups, cured a large number of patients with sexually transmitted diseases, and were warmly welcomed by the local people who lacked medical care and medicine, which also created favorable conditions for controlling the spread of sexually transmitted diseases. 195 1 7 After the epidemic prevention brigade returned to Beijing, Ye Ganyun was ordered to lead the Central Inner Mongolia Health Team to Xinbaerhu Banner, Inner Mongolia to carry out STD prevention and control work. In September of the same year, the second national health conference was held in Beijing. Ye Ganyun was invited to attend the conference and introduced the experience of STD prevention and treatment in ethnic minority areas. At the end of the meeting, he was also received by President Mao Zedong. The meeting made it clear that the prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases is one of the three key tasks of national health work. Therefore, in June of 5438+095 1 10, the Central Ethnic Affairs Commission and the Central Ministry of Health jointly established the Central Ethnic Health Work Brigade, re-appointed Ye Ganyun as the team leader, and led more than 100 medical staff to Xikang in June of 5438+095 165438. At that time, the autonomous region had just been liberated, and the local public security, transportation and living conditions were very poor. In addition, high mountains, deep valleys, thin air and mountain reactions make players from the mainland feel very uncomfortable. But all the players are committed to serving the people wholeheartedly, and Ye Ganyun also sets an example. They did not fear difficulties and overcame many difficulties, and finally traveled to 20 counties in the whole region in more than two years, successfully completing various tasks. They treated more than 200,000 patients, including more than 8,000 syphilis patients and 0/700 gonorrhea patients. All of them were treated with penicillin and achieved good results. Ye Ganyun realized that the Health Brigade was only a temporary organization. If you want to set up your own health care institutions in minority areas where there are few doctors and medicines, you must vigorously cultivate the local technical backbone of your own nation. Under his careful arrangement, more than 40 middle-level health workers have been trained for the local area in the past two years, and all of them have become the technical backbone of the local health front. The work of the health brigade is not only to cure diseases and save lives, but also to promote friendship and unity among ethnic groups. Wherever the health team went, it was warmly welcomed by the local people. Tibetan compatriots affectionately call the comrades of the health brigade good boys (Tibetan doctors) sent by Chairman Mao. 200 1, 1, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Central National Health Brigade's medical inspection tour to Tibetan areas, the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the Ministry of Health jointly held a forum in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, which fully affirmed the achievements made by the Health Brigade in Tibetan areas that year and awarded the honorary certificate of "White Warrior who benefited people in Xizang and promoted national unity". Ye Ganyun was selected as the "son of the East" by the Oriental Time and Space Program of CCTV, and made a special report.
After working in the Kangzang Plateau for more than two years, Ye Ganyun also met many Tibetan leprosy patients who came to see a doctor. Because it was stipulated at that time that leprosy patients must be admitted to leprosy hospital for isolation treatment, Ye Ganyun had no choice but to explain to the patients and mobilize them to go to Luding leprosy hospital for treatment. But at this time, in order to alleviate the suffering of leprosy patients and control the epidemic of leprosy, we must vigorously carry out leprosy prevention and control work, which has always been remembered in Ye Ganyun's heart.
1at the end of 953, Ye Ganyun led a team back to Beijing after the Central National Health Work Brigade successfully completed various tasks. It coincided with the establishment of the Central Institute of Dermatology and Venereal Diseases by the Central Ministry of Health in Beijing, and Ye Ganyun was transferred to the Institute to participate in the preparatory work. 1954 in may, the central institute of dermatology and venereal diseases was formally established. Since then, Ye Ganyun has worked in the Institute for nearly half a century, successively serving as an attending physician, director of outpatient department, deputy head of research group on prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases and leprosy, director of leprosy research room, researcher, deputy director, director of academic committee, doctoral tutor and consultant, engaged in research on prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases and leprosy.
In the early days of its establishment, the Central Leather Research Institute was at the climax of learning from the experience of the former Soviet Union, and the Leather Research Institute was no exception. At a meeting to discuss the treatment plan for syphilis, yegorov, a consultant of the Institute and an expert from the former Soviet Union, stressed that it would take two years to adopt the intermittent treatment with arsenic preparations as the main treatment method formulated by the Ministry of Health of the former Soviet Union. Hu Chuankui holds different opinions. He thinks that intermittent therapy takes too long and has many side effects, so it is better to treat it with penicillin. Ye Ganyun, based on his many years of field experience in preventing and treating sexually transmitted diseases at the grassroots level, also proposed that in order to meet the needs of preventing and treating sexually transmitted diseases at the grassroots level, it is necessary to adopt a therapy with quick onset, high curative effect, short course of treatment, few side effects and easy acceptance by patients. Therefore, penicillin therapy is far superior to intermittent therapy. Finally, the Central Ministry of Health adopted Director Hu Chuankui's suggestion and listed penicillin therapy as the first choice for syphilis treatment. This decision has played a positive role in promoting the prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases at the grassroots level. To this end, Ye Ganyun also wrote an article entitled "How Fast, How Good and How Rescued Penicillin Treats Syphilis", which was published in the journal of intermediate medicine, and recommended this scheme to grassroots prevention and treatment personnel, and achieved good results. Under the leadership of the Central Ministry of Health, the Central Leather Research Institute is responsible for the organization, coordination and technical guidance of the national STD prevention and control work. In order to obtain first-hand information, Ye Ganyun and Dr. Ma led the working group to Ningdu County, Jiangxi Province for a three-month field investigation and prevention research, summed up a set of rural STD prevention and control experience, and made a report at the national STD, leprosy and tinea capitis field prevention and control exchange meeting held in March, 65438-0959, which further promoted the comprehensive prevention and control of sexually transmitted diseases in various places. After years of efforts, by 1964, except for a few areas, sexually transmitted diseases have been basically eliminated in the country. Therefore, Ye Ganyun and Professor Hu Chuankui wrote a paper entitled "Control and Eradication of Syphilis in China", which was read at the international scientific symposium held in Beijing from 65438 to 0964. After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), sexually transmitted diseases that endanger people's physical and mental health were basically eliminated in only 15 years. This brilliant achievement has been highly valued and praised by international public opinion. In 1980s, with the extensive contact of domestic and foreign personnel, the large increase of floating population and the change of social behavior and sexual concept, sexually transmitted diseases resurfaced in China, and AIDS, known as the plague of the 20th century, was also introduced into China. Faced with this grim situation, Ye Ganyun is deeply worried and uneasy. During the session of the National People's Congress, he made many suggestions on the prevention and control of sexually transmitted diseases, presided over a symposium on the prevention and control of sexually transmitted diseases, and put forward suggestions on future prevention and control strategies and measures to the Ministry of Health. Due to the leadership's attention, China once again launched a large-scale prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases. The State Council has established a coordination meeting system for AIDS and STD prevention and control, and organized relevant departments to cooperate with each other. The Ministry of Health has set up an advisory committee of STD experts and a national STD prevention and control center, and professional prevention and control institutions have also been established in various places. Ye Ganyun was appointed as the chairman of the STD expert advisory committee. Although he is old, he is still actively involved in the prevention and treatment work, and has done a lot of work for training professional and technical personnel, compiling a manual for prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, formulating norms for prevention and treatment, organizing experience exchange meetings, conducting STD consultation activities, and guiding scientific research. He also served as the head of the expert evaluation team of the World Bank STD loan project, and cooperated with domestic and foreign experts to organize 27 research projects on STD prevention and control, all of which achieved results. In addition, he has repeatedly publicized scientific knowledge on the prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases and AIDS through television and radio. Editor-in-chief of the monographs such as Diagnosis and Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Practicality, Prevention and Treatment of Cutaneous Sexually Transmitted Diseases and Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Continue to contribute to the control of sexually transmitted diseases.
1956, the national agricultural development program promulgated by the central government clearly stipulates that leprosy should be actively prevented. Therefore, the Central Ministry of Health sent a leprosy investigation team to Guangdong, Shaanxi and other provinces to investigate the epidemic and prevention of leprosy. Ye Ganyun participated in the investigation team. He is very happy. He recalled seeing leprosy patients in the Kangzang Plateau a few years ago and had a premonition that a large-scale leprosy prevention campaign was about to begin. He went to every leprosy village hospital wholeheartedly to learn more about the local leprosy epidemic situation and prevention and control, assisted the Ministry of Health in drafting the leprosy prevention and control plan, and participated in the first national leprosy prevention and control conference held in Jinan from June 65438 to June 0957. At this time, he has made up his mind to devote his life to the prevention and treatment of leprosy. After the meeting, he led the research team to Jiangsu province to carry out the research work of BCG vaccination to prevent leprosy. At the end of that year, he went to Guangzhou to attend the national training course for senior leprosy doctors organized by Argentine leprosy expert Professor Hu Man, and was elected as the monitor. After more than three months' study, Ye Ganyun has a further understanding of the basic knowledge of leprosy, clinical rash treatment and prevention and control strategies. , strengthened his confidence and determination to do a good job in leprosy prevention and control research. After finishing his studies, he returned to the Central Institute of Dermatology, which has just set up a research group on the prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases and leprosy with the famous Dr. Ma as the leader and Ye Ganyun as the deputy leader. Both he and Dr. Ma believe that leprosy is not only a health care problem, but also a social problem. Only comprehensive prevention and control measures combining natural science with social science can be effective. He and Dr. Ma took the lead in putting forward the topic of "Study on Comprehensive Prevention and Control Measures of Leprosy in Counties", and cooperated with local governments to carry out pilot projects in Hai 'an County, Jiangsu Province and Chaoan County, Guangdong Province. The effect is very obvious, which has been popularized all over the country and won the National Science Conference Award of 1978. Ye Ganyun and his colleagues have also made many research achievements in epidemiology, social medicine, early diagnosis, treatment methods and rehabilitation medicine of leprosy, and won scientific and technological progress awards from the state and the Ministry of Health. Ye Ganyun loves the cause of leprosy prevention and control and often goes deep into leprosy endemic areas and leprosy village hospitals. On the one hand, he carefully diagnosed and treated patients, on the other hand, he had a heart-to-heart talk with patients and was deeply loved by patients. When Ye Ganyun was squatting in Caitang Commune, Chao 'an County, Guangdong Province, it happened that there was a leper living at home. The leprosy reaction was very serious and he had to be hospitalized. However, the patient's family was difficult and refused to be hospitalized. Ye Ganyun went to the door many times to persuade and give help in economy and clothing. The patient finally lived in the leprosy village and soon controlled his reaction. Whenever patients see Ye Ganyun, they will give a thumbs-up and thank them repeatedly.
198 1 year, the World Health Organization held a seminar on leprosy chemotherapy at its headquarters in Geneva, and the Central Ministry of Health sent Ye Ganyun as a representative to attend the meeting. During the week-long meeting, Ye Ganyun exchanged experiences with experts from various countries and worked out a multi-drug combined chemotherapy scheme for leprosy. The advantages of this scheme are short and fixed course of treatment, high cure rate, low recurrence rate and prevention of drug resistance. After returning to China, it coincided with the second national leprosy prevention and control conference held in Guangzhou. Ye Ganyun introduced the plan in detail at the meeting, and the Ministry of Health immediately decided to start the pilot project and spread it to the whole country after gaining experience. The pilot work was carried out in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, and it was successful. This treatment scheme has been widely used in the whole country, and a large number of patients have been cured in a short time. Shanghai, Shandong, Liaoning, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other provinces and cities have successively achieved the goal of basically eliminating leprosy. China's leprosy prevention and control work has been in the forefront of the world, and has been highly praised by the World Health Organization.
1982, at the invitation of Damian Foundation in Belgium, the Ministry of Health organized a leprosy investigation team composed of three experts, including Ma, Ye Ganyun and Su Junrui, to visit Japan, the United States, Canada, Britain, Belgium, Switzerland, India, Thailand and other countries to inspect the leprosy prevention and research work in various countries. On the one hand, they have a detailed understanding of the good experiences of countries in leprosy prevention and research, and on the other hand, they introduce the achievements of leprosy prevention and research in China to foreign countries. Ye Ganyun also gave a special report entitled "Progress in Leprosy Prevention and Research in New China" at the invitation of the US Centers for Disease Control, which was warmly welcomed. After returning to China, the investigation team made a report to the Ministry of Health, and put forward some suggestions, such as improving China's leprosy prevention and control strategy, strengthening international exchanges, establishing China Leprosy Prevention and Control Association, and publishing China Leprosy Journal, which were all adopted.
1982 the Ministry of health set up a leprosy expert advisory group and appointed ye ganyun as the team leader. 1985 China Leprosy Prevention and Control Association was established, with Ma as the chairman, and Ye Ganyun as the vice chairman, secretary general, chairman and honorary chairman. At the same time, he also served as deputy director of China Leprosy Prevention Research Center and editor-in-chief of Leprosy magazine in China.
1984, 12 International Leprosy Conference was held in New Delhi, India. Ye Ganyun attended the meeting and read two papers. Among them, the report on Tripterygium wilfordii's response to leprosy has attracted the attention of many experts. 1989, 13 The International Leprosy Conference was held in The Hague, the Netherlands. Ye Gan was the deputy head of the delegation of China, presided over the discussion of the branch of leprosy epidemiology, and was elected as the director of the International Leprosy Society. 1993, the 4th International Leprosy Conference was held in Orlando, USA, and Ye Ganyun was re-elected as a director of the Society. He actively strived for 15 international leprosy conference to be held in China on the board of directors, and it was unanimously adopted by the conference. 1998, 15 The International Leprosy Conference was held in Beijing International Convention Center, with Ye Ganyun as the vice chairman of the organizing committee and taking an active part in the organization of the conference. The success of the conference was well received by experts from all over the world.
As a tutor for master students and doctoral students, Ye Ganyun also trained the first master of leprosy in China. Instruct graduate students to finish their graduation thesis "HLA-A.B antigen frequency distribution of leprosy patients in China Han nationality", which is the first report at home and abroad and has academic value for studying the genetic factors of leprosy.
Ye Ganyun was elected as a deputy to the Fifth People's Congress of Jiangsu Province and the Sixth and Seventh National People's Congresses. During the National People's Congress, he suggested deleting and amending the provisions on leprosy in the Marriage Law. In 2000, when the Legal Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress held a forum on the revision of the Marriage Law, Ye Ganyun was invited to attend. He explained the necessity of deleting the leprosy clause from the perspective of medical development and was adopted. In 200 1 year, the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) passed an amendment to the Marriage Law, which deleted the improper provisions on leprosy.
Ye Ganyun attended many international conferences on leprosy and received foreign experts to visit China. He met many internationally renowned leprosy experts and established friendly relations, which created favorable conditions for strengthening international cooperation, introducing foreign advanced technology and sending leprosy control researchers from China to study abroad. Ye Ganyun has published more than 30 papers on leprosy in medical journals at home and abroad. Editor-in-chief of practical leprosy, handbook of leprosy prevention and control, handbook of leprosy combined chemotherapy, handbook of leprosy laboratory work, handbook of leprosy nursing and other monographs.
