What kind of scene is depicted in Cold Food
Cold Food describes the scene of the ancient traditional festival of cold food.
The translation of Cold Food? In the twilight of spring, willow wadding and falling reds were everywhere in Chang'an City, and the east wind blew the willow branches of the royal gardens during the Cold Food Festival. As night falls, the palace is busy passing candles, and the light smoke from the lighted candles disperses into the homes of the princes and nobles.
The first two lines of this poem are about the daytime scenery, describing the charming spring scenery of the whole Chang'an where the willow waddles are fluttering and countless reds are falling, as well as the scenery in the garden of the palace; while the last two lines are about the nighttime scene, vividly drawing a picture of the nighttime passing candles by walking horseback, so that one can see the light of the candles as if seeing the light of the candles, as if smelling the smell of light smoke.
The whole poem is written in white, portraying the royal family's grandeur, overflowing with the intoxication of the imperial capital's spring colors and the singing of the peace of the world. The poem was favored by emperors and courtiers alike, and has been highly praised throughout the ages.
